PB SSF is a nice little refuge from the hustle and bustle of the City. After dealing with long lines, scant seating, and the impossible parking situation in SF, it is a relief to escape to this little plaza in SSF.

Not only do they have a large parking lot (plus there is an Arco across the street so I can fill up on gas as well), the space is beautiful--an elegant circular layout in a rustic ambiance with a tall ceiling and wooden panels. I have spent so many hours here getting work done on the spacious tables and comfortable grey chairs (though if you come late, these are taken and you have to use the flimsier metal chairs.)

The options are endless; it's pastries galore and I usually have to make several rounds before I can decide on what to get. They have everything from simple croissants to chocolate bread to cronuts and cruffins. My go-to's are the croquettes (filled with curry, delicious and perfect for a hearty breakfast or snack), sweet potato twists (has the texture of a croissant), and loaves of whole wheat bread (so fluffy, it's a real treat and makes it hard to go back to grocery store sliced bread.)

They also have very good and reasonably priced cakes. I've tried the blueberry chiffon and it was enough for a large group, tasty with good blueberry flavor, not too sweet, was constructed in a nice ratio of moist cake to cream filling, and had an airy texture throughout. They offer cake by the slice as well and cute little glass bottles of royal pudding if happen to be craving a little dessert.

For those of you who like coffee shop camping like myself, PB has a full food menu and unlike SF cafes, the food is actually good and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I've had brunch food here before which was satisfying, and they also have a lot of different salads and sandwiches.

The only minor complaints I have are that wifi can be slow if the store gets really busy, and the bathroom isn't always well kept by the end of the day. Otherwise, I always have a good experience and PB is one of my favorite weekend routines.

A family friend brought a cake over from Paris and it was bomb, so I decided to get a cake for my dad birthday.  I wanted to try something new than the last cake we had.  My dad likes coffee, so I got the mocha cake.  Kinda regretted we cut into it.  I didn't realize the top had a layer of caramel, which made the cake overly sweet.  Also, the cookies became soggy cause it's in the refrigerator.

I also realized the cake my family friend brought was Paris baguette's most popular cakes.  I shoulda stuck with that one cause that was gooodddd. Not too sweet.  It was the blueberry cake.

Overall I would come back to try a new cake.  They package your cake with candles, matches, and a knife to cut the cake.

I've been to a few Paris Baguette locations and have been to this branch one or two times. This review is about my most recent visit.

Waiting for my order at Philz, I browsed the pastries here for potential breakfast options. Ended up grabbing the following to share:

Garlic Mini Croissants - The cutest little things that pack a flavorful punch. While I wouldn't say these are the best croissants you will ever have, you'll still be delighted with each bite.

Croque Monsieur - Cheesy, flavorful. Wish we were given the option to have this warmed up because it would have been loads better that way.

Cream Cheese Mochi Donut - Super plain in appearance, but has a lightly sweet taste and peculiar chewy texture. I really liked this one!

Overall, good experience. Would be dangerous to go back, but that won't stop me.

Paris Baguette serves my absolute fav coffee. Hazelnut Roast! Nothing compares to this place in my opinion.  They're danishes,  rolls, muffins,  sandwiches, salads, specialty coffees and service outshines the average gig.. That's why I keep coming back. I try something different each time I visit.  That's how big their selection is. Make this place your place

This is one of my favorite places to go for pastries and drinks. I remembered that my first time having PB was in NYC when I was a teenager. Everyone was going crazy for their Royal Pudding, I went there couple of times and they were sold out. Well, that was in the past. Nowadays, there are more and more bakery stores opening up everywhere. So every time when I go to NYC, I will still go to PB to grab a drink or a pastry. The quality is still the same, creative different style pastries and the taste is still good.

For this location that I visited, it is good and big. I got their spicy curry and crab meat croquette. They both tasted great. Highly recommended. It was my first time having hazelnut latte at PB. Prefect blend, not too sweet and and I can actually taste the hazelnut flavor. Overall, I would have to say that PB is still one of many favorite to go to.
